Angel Lluís Ferrando Morales (Alcoi, 1965) is entitled higher
Conducting and Musicology, studying in the
Aragon Conservatory under the direction of Luis and Juan José Olives
Press. He has taken courses and seminars in pedagogy, analysis and composition
with renowned specialists as Pilar Fuentes, Pilar Lago,
Montserrat Sanuy, Jacques Chapuis, Yitzhak Sadai, Guy Reibel, George
Benjamin, Tomas Marco, Joan Guinjoan, Jose L. Castillo, Agustí Charles,
Rafael Liñán and Pedro Guajardo. It has also worked various aspects of
music image with José Nieto, Carles Cases, Roque Baños, Eva
Gancedo and Luis Ivars.
Since 1987 composes, records and directs music for theater, dance, film and
T.V. thus receiving several nominations and awards. Besides his work
in the field of applied music, he has premiered several works of nature
symphonic in various Spanish cities as well as in Mexico, Taiwan and USA.
He has written numerous articles and studies, as well as taught courses
music for teachers, lectures, talks and discussions on topics
musical.
He has been chief conductor of the Musical Society “La Alianza” from Mutxamel
(1997-2001) and l’Union of Bocairent Musical Association (2002-2005) and
guest conductor of the Classical Orchestra of San Vicente del Raspeig, Set
Camera Alcoyana Symphony Orchestra, Youth Orchestra and JOBAC
Symphony Alcoy.
He is currently chief conductor of the Musical Corporation Primitiva
Alcoy Quartet and the OSA of Percussió (now Esclats), with whom he has made
numerous national and European premieres, as well as professor of Language
Music, Harmony and Instrumental Ensemble at School “Amando Blanquer” the
Musical Instructive Center “APOLLO” of Alcoy, of which he was director until
1994.
